What is brick repointing?
Brick repointing is the process of renewing and repairing the existing pointing (the visible joint between the bricks). Repointing restores the visual and physical integrity of the masonry and can in turn, increase the value of your property.
The pointing on your building can be damaged and eroded by overtime weathering and cyclic expansion and contraction. It can break the bond between the bricks and the mortar whereby the mortar will crumble and disintegrate creating voids between bricks.
